A recent article in your paper said Metro was building a track at the Fairview Heights MetroLink station to turn trains around. The sign at the station says they are building a pocket track for $10 million. Every time I have ridden MetroLink, the driver merely walks from one end of the train to the other to change direction. Why do they need this expensive track when there's talk about services being cut if Missouri doesn't increase its tax revenue? Another Metro boondoggle?
