Q. I have tried to grow pumpkins for the last three years and I have never grown a pumpkin yet. Something happens to the stem somewhere along the line and the vine suddenly wilts or the leaves get some kind of disease. Also are there different kinds of pumpkins such as for use in pies and making jack-o-lanterns? How much space does it require for those mini-pumpkins? Is it the same as regular pumpkins?

Q. I have two plants called angel's trumpet. They are in a tree form and are about 10 feet tall. We cannot overwinter them inside and I do not think they will survive outside. Any suggestions on making cuttings? Can we grow them from seed?

Q. My question is not plant based but "worm based." We have lived in our home for seven years and last spring was the first time I noticed these worms two houses down covering the sidewalk under a neighbor's tree. Somehow, they found my backyard and found a way in past my basement door. I would put them into the toilet and they could swim. I did also notice when they got cold they would coil up into a letter "C." What are they? And how do I keep them out of my house?
