The Los Tres Amigos Mexican restaurant in Wood River has reopened after closing its doors when several customers got sick with salmonella symptoms earlier this month.

The restaurant closed voluntarily. The Madison County Health Department was able to link three of the nine customers sickened at the restaurant to the national salmonella outbreak traced to contaminated tomatoes.
