ST. LOUIS -- East St. Louis football player Demond Hunt Jr. remained in fair condition Saturday at Cardinal Glennon Hospital.

Cardinal Glennon spokesman Bob Davidson said Saturday night that Hunt's condition remained "about the same as yesterday" as the Flyers junior linebacker recovers from a serious head injury suffered Oct. 3 in a game against Collinsville.

Davidson also said that East St. Louis linebacker Justin Cromer and Granite City lineman Shane Vinson, both injured in the second quarter of the Flyers 52-0 win on Friday, were treated at the Cardinal Glennon emergency room and released early Saturday morning.
